[Aww, but Eiríkur, getting hammered is the best way to tell a person's true nature! Er, something like that. Deeba is pretty sure that this is a philosophy she picked up while accordingly drunk, a habit which she in turn picked up because she has a very wide-ranging group of friends, but it's actually somewhat true.
The bar is a result of said wide-ranging group, though the adjective is probably far too kind. As a result of aforementioned ADVENTURES and PUBLIC PROTESTS THAT GET KIND OF ROWDY, she has met a lot of people and many of them are not very high-class at all. Which means that it is a good thing that she gives not a single fuck and actually usually thinks that the more urban the place--such as this club--the more interesting things are going to get.
And in truth, she's pretty much right. It's why she spent almost two weeks of freshman year running around the dorms with bright blue hair and close to a full semester with a certifiably metalhead mohawk haircut, has a stash of stolen street signs in her flat and a penpal in South Korea, and knows both the poison control number by heart and what it feels like to be maced; it's why she has a tattoo of a stylistic umbrella on one shoulder blade and a belly button ring, as Eiríkur may or may not know depending on where in the timeline this thread falls.
But enough about Deeba's escapades, most of which he may be thankful to know were part of a wild-child stage that only lasted for her first year or two of uni. She can spill those later, can't she?]
Not a lightweight, are you?
lol OF COURSE it was awesome and unendingly amusing <333
[ On the contrary, Eiríkur's life is posh, sheltered, caged; full pointless dinner parties, stuck-up snobs (which he never liked), and broken dreams. The closest things he had to an "escapade" are his books, vacations in various countries across Europe, and probably his casual flings, as well. There aren't plenty of them, since he had to maintain his so-called public image as an elusive kind of guy, but he had some considerable experience, and is good at keeping them under the radar. He spent his first two year in uni being his shy, reserved self. No notable wildness like weird hair colours, just the usual teenage mischief like drunken parties. And even then, he never gets too wild.
Obviously, this is his first time going to this kind of bar. His brother would passed out from sheer surprise if he ever finds out about this, and his father would probably ground him for the rest of the year, but he doesn't give a single damn. It's not like they're going to find out about this, anyway. Of course he had devised an alibi.
He's feeling out of place, and he probably looks the part, too. Thankfully she functioned as his blend-in item. Well, sort of anyway. ]
No, of course not. [ Which may be a lie since he never went overboard with drinking. ] What do I looked like, you?
[ Yep, he's teasing her, which is a normal occurrence. Also she can definitely told him about her various escapades later, and he'd be damned surprised when he found out that she had a tattoo and a belly button ring. In a good way, of course. ]
[Siiiiip. Well, he may be getting a glimpse of the tattoo once the jacket comes off and she's in full little-leopard-print-dress party mode, but that's not for a couple more drinks yet.]
Don't challenge me. [ Although he's obviously still in teasing mode, it's the truth, since she had successfully poked his male ego. It's mostly due to the fact that, as stated before, he's not planning to get completely trashed, like the responsible gentleman he is. But those sacrilegious words could and would ruin everything he had planned so meticulously.
Once the beer arrived, he sipped it slowly, trying to shrug of Deeba's words. ]
[ The look he gave her was long and hard. It's typical of her to do something like that (in fact, he should have seen that coming), but seriously, he doesn't want to: create a scandal, make a fool out of himself, do horribly stupid things, stuff like that. If they were getting hammered in either her or his flat, he could have cared less. ]
Now I'm pretty sure you had some not-very-clean intentions in mind, you know. [ Sigh. Even though he's clearly teasing her, there's a tiny bit of seriousness mixed somewhere in there. Not an accusation, but rather an assumption. Because, the question is, why wouldn't she? He knows that she wanted him, and he'd kept her lost in lock and key for far too long now. At least according to her standards.
Strangely, he's vaguely okay with that, if his assumption was confirmed. ]
pff you went along with my hamsteaks. ilu. <3

[Because now, she is positively throwing it back. Responsible gentleman go bye-bye now!]
